IEN is a North American based organisation aimed at bringing together indigenous communities concerned over environmental issues. Indigenous land have for decades been exploited, deforested and stolen without a care for the communities who depend on them. The IEN questions these practices, amplifies the voices of the indigenous communities and empowers grassroots environmental indigenous initiatives. With a particular focus on indigenous feminism and climate justice the IEN promotes an intersectional solution to the climate crisis.
