Lack of representation

Empowerment

Outdoor Afro is at the forefront of the outdoor movement. The organisation empowers Black people to form connections with nature and become leaders while addressing systemic racial issues limiting Black people’s access to the outdoors. Outdoor Afro aims to bring diversity and inclusion to outdoor recreation, nature, and conservation. They host local meet ups and have community groups all over America.
