building community

Climate Action LAb is a collective of LA residents building community and finding ways of taking local climate action. The space is a place for young people of LA to learn, connect and collectively imagine what a green future for the city will look like. The woman-led team (with help of their mascot Sunny) brings out the forward-looking side of LA to help people reconnect to their environments and make meaningful change.

Our Honest Opinion

We love how the Climate Action LAb is changing the narrative most people have of LA, from a place of overconsumption and fallen dreams to a green capital of the US. Their colourful and fresh design helps lighten the mood, and reflects the hopeful and playful spirit of their work. We especially love how this diverse team of young women provide practical solutions and actions for their community while calling for systematic change and dismantling of oppressive and exploitative systems. This is intersectionality at its best!
